Welcome Autumn in Style: Jewelry Inspiration Board

Everyone has a favorite season, mine happens to be autumn. There is everything to love about fall -the crisp air, changing leaves, falling leaves, richer colors, warm apple pie (Mmm-mm!), baking, pumpkin picking and, so much more.

Getting together with the girlfriends for a lunch out and then some fall shopping is exactly what I was thinking of when I created this Welcome Autumn in Style wardrobe board.

Island Treasures Wedding: Jewelry Inspiration Board

It should come as no surprise that I'm completely mesmerized by our new Island Treasures Summer Jewelry Collection featuring Crystallized^TM Swarovski Elements Starfish.

Although originally designed for everyday summer fashions, I quickly realized that all three crystal colors would also pair perfectly with a summer wedding. So I got to work building a jewelry inspiration board that would make any bride weep with joy.

Although I was a winter bride and loved my winter wedding (held just three days before Christmas). Just about a month before our wedding we took a trip to Sanibel Island. IF for some reason, my winter wedding was not doable, I definately would have considered a beach wedding, right on Sanibel Island.

The layers of the wedding dress featured, by Brides.com, reminded me of waves on the ocean, rolling towards the beach. Ironically, just a few weeks ago, I purchased a pair of bronze jewel encrusted sandals from Dress Barn (love 'em!). After wearing them I thought, 'gee...these would be perfect for a beach wedding' (in white of course!). So if you're having a beach wedding or destination wedding, why bother with the formality of a wedding shoe -wear a wedding sandal! Autumn Honey -Jewelry Wardrobe Inspiration

I know the stores have seemed to have skipped over Thanksgiving and are now pushing Christmas already. But for me -it's still autumn! What better way to enjoy the season than with a little Autumn Honey?!

Romantic at Heart -Jewelry Wardrobe Inspiration

After yesterday's jewelry wardrobe board, I was inspired to create another for the newest beaded necklace available at CrystalAllure.com -the Romantic at Heart Wisteria Amethyst Gemstone Heart Pendant Necklace.

I was just going to post the new necklace with some information, like I typically do, and instead I decided to try to visually showcase the meaning behind why I designed the necklace. I mean, be honest, aren't we all hopeless romantics? Granted we may lose some of that "romance" as we get older and are faced with daily responsibilities -but deep down, we're still romantics at heart. Or at least that's how I see us ladies.

For that reason, I wanted to create something that showcased that sexy, romantic, glamorous and "girly" side of ours. For years, everyday, I used to change my hairstyle (I usually wore it up because it was more "pretty" that way). Today, admittedly I just don't have the luxury of that time anymore in the morning. But I'm still a romantic at heart!

The beauty of this beaded necklace is the filigree heart pendant. In the pendant are two tiny heart cut-outs and the amethyst gemstone with its' lovely purple and grayish coloring is just....oh so romantic!

Pumpkin Spice -Jewelry Wardrobe Inspiration

Just the other day I realized I hadn't done one of these in quite a while. I love creating wardrobe ensembles as inspiration for my jewelry designs. In fact, I started to create this inspiration board late last year and as of recently, the lovely Red Aventurine Gemstone Beaded Necklace has sold. Although the necklace is no longer available, I still wanted to share this jewelry wardrobe inspiration with you because it is a fabulous combination -orange, black and brown. Without doubt, hands down, absolutely perfect for fall!!

Feminine Fernwood -Jewelry Wardrobe Inspiration

It's been awhile since my last jewelry wardrobe board and this time it was quite easy to choose a piece to build around. You can't help but love our Fernwood Forest Heart Leaf Pendant Gemstone Beaded Necklace. It features lush green garnet gemstones paired with natural wood (depicting our wonderful green forests') and the Karen Hill Tribe heart leaf pendant adds just the right amount of femininity to this sterling silver accented beaded necklace.

Dare to Dream: Caribbean Sparkle -Jewelry Wardrobe Inspiration

Ahhh, the sun and surf. Come on, admit it. You dream of the Caribbean too. It's so easy....just close your eyes and picture yourself floating on the crystal blue waters of the Caribbean in a small boat while the wind caresses your sun-kissed skin and the waves gently sway your boat back and forth.

But, back to reality. It might be easier to picture this scenario than it is to get there! So, to give you the luxury and beauty of the Caribbean without the travel costs, I created the Caribbean Crystal Sterling Pendant Necklace and Earrings.

Sophisticated Elegance -Jewelry Wardrobe Inspiration

I happened to find this pretty nifty Polyvore tool that lets you upload clothes, accessories and more to your profile. You can then you can mix and match until your hearts content! I thought this would be a great tool to feature some of our Crystal Allure pieces with fabulous outfits. Since this was my first go at it all, I tested the tool on, of course, our -Swarovski Crystal beaded bracelet and earrings.
